Oversi
was founded by Oren Ahronson and Shimrit Plesner who have worked together for over
a decade. They have decided to join forces and utilize their skills set,
knowledge and experience to promote businesses based on trust, integrity, professionalism,
mainly, but not exclusively in the field of energy and sustainability.
Oren
Ahronson – An Israeli businessman, investor, advisor, board member and
entrepreneur
Oren began his professional career in a family
business Ziegler Electrical Engineering Ltd that led large Energy projects in
Israel. The company was acquired by Siemens and was integrated into Siemens
Israel. Oren led the Energy and Industry Division and later served as the
President and CEO of Siemens Israel. During his 5-year term as CEO, the company
grew 3X and became the market leader in various sectors including Power
generation, transmission and distribution, Transportation (trains), Healthcare
and Industrial applications. In addition, Oren played a leading role in
Siemens’ investments in Israeli technology companies. That is where he became
passionate about the huge potential of building bridges between Israeli
innovative technology and international markets.
After leaving his role at Siemens, Oren continued investing in Startups and
took a more active role in helping promising technology companies develop,
build and expand to international markets. He focuses on companies in the
Energy and AI space and has served as CEO in various Startup companies, including
PowerOffer, DNA Trade, InLoop and Evolution Energy.
Shimrit
Plesner – Marketing and Operations executive with over 20 years of
experience in international corporations in the high tech and energy industries,
specializing in marketing strategy planning and execution.
Shimrit began her professional career at Siemens Israel and led the marketing
communication activities of the Energy division, and later was promoted to become
the Head of Corporate Communications of Siemens in Israel. After her 10 years at Siemens, Shimrit moved
to Metrolight, a provider of energy efficient lighting solutions where she led
the Marketing Communications of the company. Following that, Shimrit joined
SolarEdge, a leading company in the smart solar inverters and solutions.
Shimrit served as the Regional Marketing Manager with full responsibility over
Turkey, Cyprus, and Israel.
Later,
Shimrit was part of the executive team and served as the VP Operations and
Customer Success at InLoop, a startup company in the field of Intelligent
content automation.
